Banquet Services and Charges

PAYMENT
A signed contract is required to secure all private rooms at Metropolitan Cafe. A non-refundable deposit of $200 and a 25 guest minimum is required for the use of the private dining room for daytime events. A non-refundable deposit of $250 and a 35 guest minimum is required for weekday evening events. This is paid at the time of booking and is applied to your final bill. For weekend evening events, a food and beverage minimum is applied. Please contact Metropolitan Café for the details. Final payment is due in full at the conclusion of your event. A 20% gratuity will be added to your total bill along with the required 7.5% sales tax.

BANQUET ROOMS
We have two rooms available for parties and special events. The St. John’s room can hold up to 50 seated guests. The Metropolitan room can accommodate up to 70 seated guests. There is a private dining entrance available as well as a separate coatroom and restrooms.

GUEST GUARANTEE
A final guest count is required five days prior to your event. This number will be your minimum guarantee. If additional guests attend above the number of your final count, you will be charged on a per person basis for the extra attendees.

TABLE SETTING
All tables are set with white linen table cloths and napkins. We are happy to provide candy dishes, fresh flowers in cobalt bud vases, white votive candles and a gift table for your special event at no extra charge. You are free to bring your own decorative item or floral arrangements. Our catering staff will be more than happy to assist you with your decorating needs.

OPTIONAL SERVICES
At your request,additional services are available to enhance your event. A partial list includes: audio-visual equipment, centerpieces, colorful table linens or chair covers, entertainment, photography, valet parking and custom menu cards. These items will be quoted and billed separately. Some items may require deposits or full payment.
